Here we go again , if we are going to up grade the cameras do it in the town not the money pit, god knows we can't see any thing in town to help the police ,so up grade the towns cameras, this sounds like another council FART.
Another $12,000 for cameras at the money pit , are you people nutz? Look at this town you put your hand on the bible to do the best for the town and people, WHERE DID IT SAY THE MONEY PIT???
I agree too much money is being spent on the river. How many local people who pay taxes take advantage of that? Do something the townspeople can enjoy. Charge a fee to use the trail to the out of towners and help pay for all that is being done down there. We need new council people and mayor and manager.
If they really want ppl to come to this town take out the anquite shop that was the movie theater and bring a $2 movie theatre to this town. At least the town would get good business. And make the old bub where hinkles is in a vet shelter. Or something.restore the old buildings with things familes want to do. To bring in revenues

$115,000 a year to manage WHAT at the park , this has going to far .The tax payers should be getting things done to better there living in town, NOT THE MONEY TAKING MONEY PIT that youall keep throwing our tax dollars at. The council has done enough farts as someone calls them , now work for the citizens not the river park , it is big enough , put OUR money into this town, and don't give it away like the $151,000 on 208 210 locust street mess, yes when we look at your track record farts is a good term. Read the oath youall took it DIDNOT say river park , now STOP THE NONSENSE. Youall are making a name for your selves but I don,t think that your gone to like what you and the rest of the borough are being called , along with past council and river park advisors or nutz as common tax payers are calling you.
Now we are going to start on the trail and the money pit , we can not support this nonsense , the park is big enough . The borough had time to repair the damaged docks for next year but not enough to clean the storm drains. (stated in borough minutes) This is a management problem , lets see docks that are not used till spring or leaves that fell or falling and blocking drains, it is not hard so why is this a problem ?? MANAGMENT INEXPERENCE More to come I am afraid , hold on to you hat Columbia.

$32,000 fence, $20,000 cement slab , thousand to seal steps ,$75,000 4th and locust street lot ,this list of FARTS keeps going , Council don't you see how these things make you look or don't you care? The street lights that you are putting up look nice but they don't lite up the area , thousands more, And a council member owes back taxes and states they are not his taxes they are the properties taxes, Yup you people look like , well lets let people think for themselves. Farts way to many to tie up Coles paper. Trying to give away $650,000 to a private company says it all , the retired borough manager had to tell you it is ileagel, so whats the new manager and assistance say, THey don't know so what good are they or are they puppets for the mayor and council?

I'd like to see back up proof for your statement that 98% of the tax payers don't go to the river park or use the trail. Make your statements but please use verifiable information.

For $115,000 a year S/H should be able to tell who uses the park. They don't seam to do much of anything else that's way the borough employees are there all the time, SHOW US A TIME CHART ON THE HOURS SPENT BY THE BOROUGH EMPLOYEES AT THE PARK. Hum We citizens have a right to know this , so the verifiable information is on the borough managers docs.
Double talk , back door Lutz administration , give to outside people and to hell with the town people, this is what we got and had for 20 years , above the law or change the laws once they broke them . These people took a oath to do the best for the people, it didn,t say ram the money pit down there throats , time to get someone in to clean house, get experienced people in place and clean up the hitler style government out. Sculumbia is not just sport related , people read and laugh at us because of council FARTS and there have been plenty for years , to shead that image it well take time and people that want the best for ALL the tax payers not just a few .
