Columbia School District drops membership in School Boards Association

The Columbia school board voted to cease its membership with the Pennsylvania School Boards Association at its Thursday, March 17, meeting.

  1. Of all the cuts they could make that other districts made & they make this one. This is a pittance part of the budget. Doesn't even pay for the heat on the Tajmajal admin building

  2. should have trimmed the fat by terminating ALL assistant positions, such as assistant to the super, asst to the admin, asst to the sports director, asst to the principal, asst to the asst. seriously. we have what a couple thousand maybe students and you need all these asst, etc at a very high cost. consolidate the school district
