Trash truck overturns on Route 30

Cleanup is currently underway in the westbound lane of Route 30 for an overturned tractor-trailer carrying trash. The vehicle overturned when it failed to negotiate a turn from the on-ramp onto Route 30 from Route 441. The incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. The trailer spilled trash onto the road and snarled traffic. Fire police have detoured traffic onto Route 462 at the Prospect Road exit.

  1. there should be a sign there with huge arrow for extreme turn!
there should also be signs directing tractor trailers onto the new truck route. the traffic there is very heavy, it certainly looks crazy.

  2. OMG the SPY is awesome.
3 hrs I sat in traffic, it's amazing to watch other motorists and their ignorance and lack of respect.
Maybe the rumble strips should be placed on this ramp.
They seem to be working on 441 headed into Marietta.

  8. Where was the trash headed? Looks like a full truck heading across the river, don't most trash trucks head to the incinerator or Fry landfill.
